The weather in Vietnam varies considerably as you go from the north to south. The temperature is temperate down south and is tropical up north. The country benefits from this variety and is a great destination for year round vacation. October to April is considered the busy time to travel when the country sees the least rainfall and the very moderate temperatures. Tropical monsoons with heavy downpour causing flooding are occasionally seen in the north between August and September, and in southern central part in November.
